Sunday Services
Things to Know Before You Arrive For in-person Worship on Sunday:
What is the difference between the Traditional and Contemporary Sunday Services? Basically, the services differ in music and location. The Traditional Service features traditional music and takes place in the Sanctuary, while the Contemporary Service includes updated musical selections performed by a band in the Fellowship Hall. If you would like more information on our contemporary service, then please look here.
Where do I park? Parking is generally available on the main campus with overflow available across the street (near The Fresh Market). For Traditional Services, please enter the double doors. The Sanctuary is located on the second floor with an elevator and stairs for access. Similarly, for the Contemporary Service in the Fellowship Hall enter either through the main doors and proceed to the second floor, or enter through the Fellowship Hall door located facing Hwy. 54.
What should I wear? Come as you are! There is no dress code here, from jeans to suits, with most in between, we welcome ALL to worship together.
Is there Communion at all Sunday services? Yes and ALL are welcome to the table. Gluten-free options and grape juice will also be available.
Where do I sit? A COS usher can assist you, if needed, to your seat.
What about worship guides? Our worship will be displayed on our large screens with readings, prayers and hymns. However, ushers for the Traditional Service will have printed Worship Guides available, or either can be printed at home ahead of time. (See links above)
Is there a nursery? Yes! Children 4 and under are welcome in the nursery on Sunday mornings during the 9:45am and 11am services.
The safety of our COS family is of highest importance and if you have been sick or in contact with someone sick, we respectfully require that you continue to worship with us online. We offer a Livestream of our 9:45am and 11:00am Sunday services through our Website, Facebook and YouTube.
