The COS Camping Ministry would like to offer “One Night of Free Camping” (reimbursement) to the Camping Ministry First Timers. It doesn’t matter if you have a Class A rig, a tent or something in-between. Just reserve your site, then come for the weekend. R. Shaefer Heard Campground is a waterfront facility on the southern shore of West Point Lake, which spans parts of Alabama and Georgia. This man-made lake has 525 miles of shoreline that provide excellent opportunities for fishing, camping, boating and other recreational activities.R. Shaefer Heard Campground offers 117 sites with electricity and water hookups. Other amenities include a dump station, coin laundry facilities, hot showers, a boat ramp, and hiking trails.
