Contemporary Worship

The Contemporary Service at Christ Our Shepherd combines the beauty and full liturgy of the traditional Lutheran worship with contemporary music presented by a full band and a more relaxed atmosphere.  The service meets in the Fellowship Hall at 9:45am on Sunday mornings, and typically includes: 

• Contemporary Music
• Announcements
• Prayers 
• Scripture Readings
• Sermon
• Profession of Faith (ie: Apostles' Creed)
• Offering
• Communion
• Lord's Prayer
• Benediction 

Christ Our Shepherd is blessed with many amazing musicians, and the Contemporary Service showcases some of the best.  "The Contemporary Worship Team Band", the "Second Sunday" band, and the "Other Sunday Band" take turns playing throughout each month.
