Christ Our Shepherd Advent Calendar 2020

We got engaged during the Advent Season of December 1975. This was a big time in our lives: the anticipation of being married along
with the anticipation of Jesus’ birth on Christmas Day. We celebrated as our families made plans for a wedding and the arrival of our Savior. It was a beautiful mix of happiness. Church and God have always been a part of our lives. We now celebrate with our extended family; our adult children and grandchildren.
Advent 2020 will be a great time for our family. Work has slowed down. We will decorate our home and remember the good things and the good times. We will celebrate not only Jesus, but our love for each other and the blessings that have been given to us.
Father, Thank you for grateful hearts. Thank you for reminding us of the past and giving us an anticipation of the future. In Jesus name we continue to pray.
