December already? The third day of Advent already?
If you’re not “in the mood” yet, you’re cordially invited to ADVENT FAMILY NIGHT this evening!
Family Advent Night is today, December 1st,from 5:30pm-7:30pm.
Melissa and Ingrid have planned some wonderful stations for families to try together. Families can make an Advent wreath, make a Christmas tree ornament, play a song on our bells, try out the boom whackers, send some Christmas card love to COS members in nursing homes, and, of course, back by popular demand is the dress-up station. Come dress like one of the people in the manger scene. Use the picture as your Christmas card or a memory of a fun family night. End the night at our hot cocoa bar. We hope you will make our family night part of your Advent celebration.

Dear Heavenly Father, you send us Jesus to remind us we’re never alone. Thanks for church friends, with whom I can celebrate tonight and/or in the days ahead, to celebrate that we never have to go through life alone but together! Help us to prepare for your arrival. But even if we’re not fully prepared, we praise you for your attitude, “Ready or not, here I come!” In Jesus’ name, Amen.
