Save a life!  According to the Red Cross, someone in the US needs donated blood every 2 seconds.  Patients in need include trauma and burn patients, surgical patients, and those with diseases such as cancer and sickle-cell disease.  Use code 'COSL" to make an appointment at www.redcross.org.

The PALMETTO ROAD FAMILY OCTOBERFEST is taking place on Saturday, October 21, from 4-7 pm. Think outdoor music festival, old-fashioned picnic on the grounds, small night market, and Octoberfest, complete with beer. There will be food and drink, beer and wine, arts and crafts, a kid zone, and music!
